Maguette Diame, Co-Director Senegal, has a Bachelors in African Literature and Civilization and English/Arabic Literary Studies and Masters in Education and English (American Studies) from Cheikh Anta Diop University (Senegal). He also has a MA in International Studies, Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Management, and a Language Teaching Specialization (Linguistics Department) from the University of Oregon (USA). Maguette’s academic achievements also include receiving both a Promising Scholar Award from the University of Oregon Graduate School and a Fulbright scholarship. He is proficient in Wolof, French, English, Mandingue, and Arabic. A favorite quote: "Take time to understand why others are doing it differently - it is a big step towards tolerance, respect, and peace."
